bakes by lo was created in 2015 by combining laura's passion for baking and love for art. five years of decorating cookies by herself in a tiny apartment paved the path to a storefront in center street market. she loves this community and getting to watch her baby bakery grow.

hannah came to BBL in august 2020 from her hometown of toledo, where she had 3 years of professional baking experience. she is goofy, determined, and always ready for a dance break.

emma found a passion of baking & decorating just a few short months after working the front counter with us. she is bright, theatrical, and has a great selection of goofy socks! she comes to us from marion where she returns often, especially for the annual popcorn festival!
